Luis Carballo is a multidisciplinary visual artist. Raised within a family connected to design and entrepreneurship, he was exposed early on to diverse creative languages.

He began his career as a professional photographer and is particularly recognised for his work in street photography. His initial engagement with photography and painting naturally evolved into a broader artistic practice encompassing photography, collage, assemblage, sculpture and writing.

Carballo regularly exhibits photography, manipulated photography and three-dimensional drawing. His solo exhibitions have been presented since 2022, including at the MAD (Marvila Art District) in 2022 and 2023, and at Galeria Módulo Twist in 2024 and 2025. In Spain, he held a solo exhibition in 2025 at Galeria AF in Vigo.

Selected group exhibitions and art fairs include the Lisbon Art and Antiques Fair (LAAF), at Cordoaria Nacional (2024, 2025); the Autumn Art and Antiques Fair at SNBA (2023–2024-2025); Colectivo 284 and Just LX (2024); JustMAD Madrid (2024, 2026); Casa Caus, Lisbon, Lisbon Art Office – Kees Eijrond Foundation and AQE at SNBA (2025).

His works are held in private collections across Austria, Spain, Switzerland, France, England and the United States. In Spain, one of his compositions is included in the collection of Juan Entrecanales de Azcárate, in his museum in Toledo.
